The Welcome Call
The 10- to 15-minute call you make as soon as someone signs up through your link. This one is written for the Frequency Reset, the free seven days with the Oracle deck. Use the same shape before your own webinars, masterclasses and challenges.
This call is how people actually show up and do it. They tell you why it matters to them, they name what could get in the way, and they plan for it before life gets in the way. The blocks they name here are the same blocks that stop them from hitting every goal in their life.
Want the why behind each part? Read the September call manual, Step 2.
Get ready
- Know how they came to you. Did they see your post, get your email, hear you talk about the deck? Look before you call.
- Keep a page of notes for each person. You'll use their exact words on your check-ins and on the 45-minute call.
- Match their tone and energy. Be in rapport. Acknowledge, validate, normalize. Whatever they say, everything is okay.
- Treat every question as a good sign. "What a great question. I'm so glad you asked." A question means they want this.
- Have your calendar open. You're booking three things before you hang up.
Say hello
"Hi [Name], it's [Your Name]. You signed up for the Frequency Reset, the seven days with the Oracle deck, and I'm so glad you're in. Do you have 10 to 15 minutes right now so we can set you up to get the most out of it?"
If now isn't good, book a time for today or tomorrow before you hang up.
"Here's what I'd love to do. I want to hear what drew you in, walk you through how the seven days work, and get it into your calendar so life doesn't get in the way. Sound good?"
Small yeses. You're leading the call.
Why they signed up
"What caught your eye about the Frequency Reset?"
"What was important to you about it?"
"If these seven days were the best seven days you've had in a long time, what would be different for you at the end?"
Write down their words. If they aren't sure, ask: "Do you remember what made you click?" or "What do you see in me, or in the deck, that made you want to try it?"
What they've tried
"Have you tried anything like this before? Meditation, oracle cards, journaling, another challenge?"
"How did that go? What got in the way?"
A lot of people have signed up for something like this before and life got in the way. Now you know what to say in Part 3 about what's different this time.
Walk them through the experience
"Here's how it works. Once a day for seven days, you pull one card. You do the meditation for that card, and then you journal. That's it."
"If you journal, at the end of the seven days you get a frequency report. And any time something comes up that you want to go deeper with, there's root cause coaching right in the app to help you process it."
"Here's what's different from [what they tried before]: it's one card a day, it takes a few minutes, the card is almost always exactly what you need that day, and you're not doing it alone. I'm doing it with you."
Tell them the app works on their phone too: open it in the browser and choose "Add to Home Screen."
Their blocks
"Let's look at your week. Is there anything that could get in the way of doing this every day for seven days?"
Get specific. Taking the kids to school, work deadlines, a date night already planned, travel, a concert. Whatever they say is real.
"How are you going to handle that?"
"And what would it mean for you to follow through on this, all seven days?"
Their goal
"So at the end of these seven days, what's the one thing you want to walk away with?"
Repeat it back to them in their words. This is what you come back to on every check-in and on the 45-minute call.
"If these seven days got you [what they just said], would it be worth it?"
Book three things
"Let's put this in your calendar right now, while we're on the phone."
- Their daily card time. "What time each day will you pull your card and do the meditation?" Have them put it in their calendar while you're on the call.
- Your check-ins. If you're doing it with them, agree how you'll share each day (text or a quick call). If you're coaching, book two or three 15-minute calls, for example on days 2, 5 and 7, or days 1, 4 and 6.
- The 45-minute call. Day seven or the day after, while it's still fresh. "At the end we'll do a longer call to look at what came up for you and where you want to go from here."
Book the times with them on the call. Don't send a calendar link and hope.
"Here's my number. Text me any time, especially if a card hits you. I can't wait to hear what comes up."
Voicemail & text
"Hi [Name], it's [Your Name]. You signed up for the Frequency Reset, the seven days with the Oracle deck, and I'd love 10 minutes with you to set you up to get the most out of it. Call or text me back at [your number] when you have a moment."
"Hi [Name], it's [Your Name]. I'm so glad you signed up for the Frequency Reset. Before you start, I'd love 10 minutes on the phone to walk you through the seven days and hear what you want out of them. When's a good time today or tomorrow?"
Before your webinars
This is the same call I've made before seven-day challenges, five-day masterclasses and 45- to 90-minute webinars. Swap "the Frequency Reset" for your event, keep the five parts, and book their attendance (live or replay) the way you book the daily card time here.
Then take their words from the call into your webinar. When you say back what they told you they want, they feel it.
